Which is to say, it's great to rediscover your efforts since the old In Contempt days and find you're as good with the written word (this post being a great example) as you always were with the toonist's pen. You can throw in some sympathetic humans, but have it be someone in the alien's tribe who sees how to change things. And treat HUMANS as the aliens. Because to us ALIENS are always ALIENS, be they native american or what. Hrmmm.... Been reading your posts on your comic shift. Keep meaning to write.
