New page, new story, new site design (still in progress), even a new drawing approach. Other than Photoshop, my tools are more traditional this time: nibs, brushes, an ink well. I will still use markers and Sharpies and my pen brush for touch up and quick detail work; but I missed the old tools. I started using them with In Contempt a couple months ago and rediscovered the greater levels of subtlety and control they afford. Also: because I have a giant scanner, I am now drawing at much larger sizes — again, a more traditional comic book approach.

In Contempt is running late this week. Back pain in the lower lumbar really slowed me down this week. I tell ya, this getting old crap sucks! Anyhoo, it’ll be up tomorrow. Have vicodin, will doodle.
