It has been a busy few weeks in my personal life, so I thought I would take the end of one chapter and the start of another as an opportunity to take a short break. Of course, I still drew a cartoon to observe the break. I don’t know how to relax. Which is probably why my daughter bought me a used Nintendo Switch and introduced me to Animal Crossing. I don’t know why a game where you perform a series of random tasks to pay back a capitalist raccoon who finds novel ways to keep you in debt is relaxing. Maybe it’s because I paid off a $350,000 (in Bells) house in only a matter of days just by gathering sea shells. Not something I can do in real life.
Anyway, next week starts Chapter 6, “All the Cures that Ail Us.” See you then!
Animal Crossing? BWAH HAH HAAAAAAA!
My daughter scored that right at the beginning of the pandemic two years ago. I totally understand this.
Can fidget spinners be far behind?
See you on the other side.
