In his concurring opinion to the 5-4 decision to overturn Roe v Wade, Justice Clarence Thomas suggested reconsidering other landmark decisions based on the due process clause of the 14th Amendment. We all noted the omission of Loving v Virginia from his list, so I claim no great insight here. The right wing is morally and intellectually bankrupt as always. They have already hurt millions of people with their reactionary policies. What makes this decision different is they have succeeded in rescinding a hard won right. They won’t stop there.
