PANEL ONE: Pooka joins Owen and Fetch under the buffet table.
POOKA: Why are you guys under here?
FETCH: The courtiers had their eyes on Owen.
OWEN: What did they want from me?
PANEL 2: Fetch explains to Owen, who looks horrified.
FETCH: Fairies feed on youthful energy. They would have fed off of you for hundreds of years, then cast you out when you were spent. You’d return to the human world still looking young, but old and weary inside, and everyone you know would be dead.
OWEN: That’s horrible.
PANEL 3: Fetch looks amused, but Owen gets suddenly pensive.
FETCH: Yet a very effective mode of time travel.
OWEN: Hold on. I have an idea.
PANEL 4: A courtier in a mask and a hat enjoys eating a little wiener on a toothpick. Owen emerges behind him from the buffet table, eyeing him intently.
PANEL 5: Owen grabs him from behind, his arm around his neck. The wiener and toothpick fly into the air. So does the courtier’s hat.
Courtier: Gack!
PANEL 6: Owen returns to Fetch and Pooka dressed as the courtier, including the mask and hat. Fetch looks stunned, but Pooka seems pleased.
FETCH: Where did you learn that?
OWEN: Hitman. A video game.
POOKA: Sweet. Try not to kill anyone.
POOKA: Why are you guys under here?
