And so completes “The Summer Court”, the 5th chapter of Otherworldly Goods.
The 6th chapter, “All the Cures That Ail Us” begins the other Wednesday from next on April 6, 2022. I am taking next week off to fine tune the script and to give my brain a rest.

PANEL ONE: Owen looks miserable. Brian puts his hand on his shoulder. Bridget hovers nearby. Fetch looks doubtful.
OWEN: So I’m stuck here? Forever?
BRIAN: No. I’ll take you to me da’s Swamp in the Winter Court and get you the liverwort.
Fetch: Are you sure?
PANEL 2: Fetch speaks to Brian.
FETCH: The Winter Court is full of solitary fae who don’t like company, not even from us Autumn fae.
BRIAN: Why d’ya think I left?
PANEL 3: Brian stands straight, his fist to his chest, a look of determination on his face. Bridget flies toward a coffee machine. Pooka raises his hands in a cheer.
BRIAN: But It’s time I stood up to the old bastard. I’m a healer! And he’ll damn well know it!
BRIDGET: So brave! I’ll get the coffee.
POOKA: We’ll all go together! It’s a quest!
PANEL 3: Owen thinks, Fetch looks confused.
OWEN: Wait. What about snowdonia hawkweed?
FETCH: What?!
OWEN: You know…
PANEL 4: Owen explains, Fetch falls to his knees. Pooka pokes his head in.
OWEN: …that plant we need to get to cure your mom’s cancer. Maybe it will free me from this food anchor in fair–
I mean, fae land.
FETCH: Omigod! My mom! I forgot!
PANEL 5: Pooka and Owen look on as Fetch hangs his head.
FETCH: I’m a terrible son.
POOKA: Well, now we got two quests!
OWEN: So I’m stuck here? Forever?
