SETTING: THE RIVER STYX, UNDERWORLD
The dark and shadowy Underworld rises on either side of the Styx. On the banks are dark forests and deep jungles.
PANEL 1
Wide shot as the boat enters right, Charon at the helm, Fetch in back with bags and suitcases.
CHARON: First time visiting the Underworld?
FETCH: Nah, grew up here. Coming back after some time in the human realm.
PANEL 2
CHARON Oh, yeah? Humans, huh? I got a cousin lives in Mumbai.
Ever been there?
FETCH No, just Scotland, Ireland, and parts of the US.
PANEL 3
CHARON Oooh, the US. Now there’s a funny place. They got that new guy.
What’s his name? Gump? Stump?
FETCH: Something like that.
PANEL 4
CHARON: Some say he’s one of us. Like a demon or an imp.
Ever meet him?
FETCH: He’s why I left.
PANEL 5
CHARON: That bad, eh?
FETCH: It’s not just him. Lightning could turn him to dust and his
followers would proclaim him a martyr called to heaven.

CHARON: I don’t think that’s the direction he’d go.
FETCH: Yeah. I just came from the other place. They don’t want him either.
