Reminds me of a time my sister was supposed to pick me up at the airport. When I called to tell her the flight was delayed one hour she flat-out told me she wouldn’t be coming because she had plans to go to a bar with her friends.
That is hilarious. I had debated (minorly) about this scene, but I love how it sets the tone of their sibling relationship. And there are so many stories like yours that this reflects. I am an only child, but I have seen so many friends do battle with their siblings; then I raised two kids of my own — they never stop bickering.
