I love drawing my kids. Today’s installment features my granddaughter, first introduced in this comic strip in 2017 when she was born; and her mom, my daughter, who first appeared in a flashback of the last chapter on this page. The autobiographical elements of Fetch have been pretty diminished in Otherworldly Goods so far, but they will become more present as the story develops. Uh, stay tuned!

PANEL 1: Fetch smirking, Tara nonchalant.

FETCH: Heh. You know she suggested I steal a baby?
TARA: Sure. Why not? That might get her off your back.

PANEL 2: Fetch surprised, Tara carried by her own idea.

FETCH: Wuh? You serious?
TARA: Do it. Even better — leave behind a changeling! Very old school!

PANEL 3: Fetch imagines stealing Finn.

FETCH: Hmmmm...My human Kevin has a grand-daughter….

PANEL 4: Fetch imagines an angry Katie, who reaches out from his thought balloon to grip him by the shirt and stick a fist in his face.

KATIE: Don’t. You. Dare.
FETCH: And a daughter. Nev’mind.
