This week Pope Francis condemned the AQAP attack on Charlie Hebdo, but then asserted a religious exception to free speech rights. Polly Toynbee likened his logic to the “she had it coming” wife-beater’s defense.
Meanwhile, due to the huge public crowds expected for the Pope’s visit to the Philippines, police officers in Manila have been issued adult diapers, so they don’t have to leave their post to go potty.
