Occasion for this cartoon: This week the viral news concerned ex-prez Obama tut-tutting liberals or lefties on Twitter for “canceling” the hateful people who make their lives miserable. Or maybe it was rape survivors standing up to Harvey Weinstein? Or who knows? Because the context for his glib lecturing is one where people with little to no power are banding together to shout down people with a lot of power who have said or done some pretty horrible things. So whomever Obama has in mind when he says these things is really a straw man.
