Kanye’s antisemitic statements have been widely condemned recently, resulting in real fiscal consequences for him as he loses contracts with companies who want nothing to do with him now. Good. The same treatment should fall upon JK Rowling, who’s been allying with hard right transphobes, misogynists, and racists to push a harmful agenda against trans and intersex folks. Alas, so far she gets support from naive liberals like Ralph Fiennes who buy her bad faith pretensions to feminism. And we should keep our eye on Elon Musk’s attempts to take over Twitter and make it worse (yes, it’s possible), empowering already well supported voices of hate.
As for Bezos, he’s a standard issue capitalist whose business has been quietly platforming fascist literature for years.
