PANEL One: Fernis addresses the crowd of zombies, Greek warriors, and neighbors. Fetch stands to the side, listening.

FERNIS: Everyone! Listen! The undead army is here!
But we can’t fight them.
ZOMBIE: Why? Are they monsters?
GREEK WARRIOR: Who cares? More glory for me! Bring ‘em on!

PANEL 2: Fernis holds up his hands. The Greek Warrior shrugs. The Zombie peasant scowls.

FERNIS: I thought we’d see monsters and demons that chased us out of Hades. These folks are just people.
GREEK WARRIOR: Pht. Undead people.
ZOMBIE: I’m undead people!

PANEL 3: Fernis addresses the Greek Warrior directly. The warrior looks perplexed.

FERNIS: Some of us are alive, some undead, and those of us who fled Hades - well, we had to be dead to get in there.
GREEK WARRIOR: Dead? Undead? Alive? So what? They’re enemy!

PANEL 4: Fernis becomes earnest. Zombie peasant looks defiant. The Greek warrior shrugs.

FERNIS: They’re peasants, farmers, ordinary people – what they were in life, they became in death. Just like us. The only difference is our kings were Greek and theirs were Irish.
ZOMBIE: Zombie don’t fight zombie.
GREEK WARRIOR: Well … Warriors don’t fight peasants. It’s beneath me.

PANEL 5: Fetch speaks to Fiona and Knob.

FETCH: Okay, so. We don’t fight, we don’t flee. Just stand here and get slaughtered?
FIONA: We’ll appeal to their conscience. As comrades.
KNOB: If that doesn’t work, we got all this beer.
