Chapter 5: The Summer Court begins next week!
I apologize for the delay in posting today’s strip. I got carried away with preparing publication files for the next two Fetch collections: A Saucer of Milk, and AntiFascist Groove Thang. I plan on having the digital editions up on Gumroad soon, and I am currently trying to get Inner And Outer Demons, the first Fetch collection, up on Comixology. If all goes well there, I will submit those titles, too. The goal this year is to get this webcomic better promoted and published. Also, I want to get the first three chapters of Otherworldly Goods collected as the first book in the series. That might take a couple of months, but the next two Fetch collections should be ready in the next week. Stay tuned! And for those of you keeping track of the publication history of this webcomic, thank you for your patience and support!
OWEN: Okay, I’ll stay. But you need to teach me magic. That was your promise.
FETCH: Of course!
PANEL 2: Owen and Fetch board the bus.
FETCH: After you’re registered with the visitor’s bureau, you’ll have royal protection. Then we can start on your lessons. The Summer Court is a huge wellspring of magic.
PANEL 3: They sit near a window.
OWEN: Yeah, well, you still need to look out for me. If there is any real danger, pull me out. Send me home. Immediately.
FETCH: Absolutely. A fair deal. You have my word.
PANEL 4: The bus heads into the horizon, silhouetted by a golden glow in the distance. There is a hint of a golden castle.
FETCH: Trust me, buddy. You will not regret this. We’ll have a hell of a time.
OWEN: If you say so….
