“Ah, I ain’t important.” Oh, Knob.
This page seems simple, yet turned out to be a little tougher than I anticipated. How much so? Well, check out this time lapse video of me drawing this page from start to finish in ProCreate. As you can see, I did some total redrawing at some point. Fortunately the video isn’t too long, about 8 minutes. The next time I post something like this, I might add music or narration to it. Anyway, enjoy the process.

Fetch sips his beer, Knob puts a hand on his shoulder
FETCH: I dunno. Maybe I’ve lost my touch. Been with humans too long.
But I gave up. Came back here.
KNOB: Well, it’s good to have you back, Fetch.
PANEL 2
Knob studies his beer, Fetch looks at the far wall
KNOB: So what now?
FETCH: Mull. Drink. Mull some more. What about you? What’s your deal?
PANEL 3
Knob looks embarrassed, Fetch grins
KNOB: Ah, I ain’t important. After college I lived with me mam for a spell til
she told me to haunt someone else’s bog. I bummed a bit.
I tried looking you up, went by your place, but, uh, you weren’t there, so….
FETCH: You took it over.
PANEL 4
Knob with a hesitating grin, Fetch looking at him with suspicion
KNOB: Well, I thought you’d be back, see. Thought I’d keep it warm for ya.
Then Fiona showed up with her pixies, then Hob, then, well …
Say, Fetch. Have you considered … perhaps … maybe...
FETCH: Spit it out, Knob.

KNOB: Running a group home for runaway youth?
FETCH: Ah. Right. Let’s talk about these squatters, old friend.
